Elegant Mansion Wedding in New Jersey

Ahhh, what a long time coming this wedding was! I’m so thrilled Hannah and Joe were finally able to celebrate with their closest family after having to reschedule their wedding twice due to COVID. Yes, you read that right, TWICE. I guess third time is truly the charm. Originally scheduled for April of 2020, they took the changes in stride with patience and grace for what was happening around them. Hannah and Joe hosted their elegant mansion wedding on May 9th, 2021 after a year long wait.

Elegant Mansion Wedding Inspiration at David’s Country Inn

David’s Country Inn is a historic venue located in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Built of logs in 1787, it was originally called The Warren House after General Joseph Warren. In 1840, the existing frame structure was constructed and it served as an inn for 152 years. Talk about some serious history! The current owners purchased it in 1978 and restored it to be what we now know as David’s Country Inn. They believe in hosting weddings with timeless elegance – which I think they have down pat. For the purpose of providing you with their full attention, they only host one wedding per day. As a NJ wedding photographer, I always want to support venues who are client-oriented and strive to give you the best day possible!

A Spring Wedding at David’s Country Inn

Hannah & Joe balance each other perfectly. For instance, Hannah is bubbly and outgoing, while Joe is quiet and more introverted. Every toast commented on how well they fit together and how kind & caring they both are. Hannah’s color palette was as vibrant as she is – the day was full of greens, yellows, and pinks. I also loved how family-focused they are. One of Hannah’s photo requests was a picture of her ring hand alongside her mother’s and maternal grandmother’s hands. I love grandmas (they are the best!) and I love how much Hannah treasures hers.
