Central Park Engagement Photos

I had the pleasure to meet up with Sangeetha and Shomik at the end of March to take some Central Park engagement photos. I loved hearing their story as we walked through the park. They had met in San Francisco while working for a tech company, but because of a job change they moved to New York last January. They were ready to live their NYC dreams – until the city closed down just weeks after their move. Like many couples during lockdown, it was a make it or break it experience, so Shomik asked Sangeetha to marry her on the Bow Bridge in Central Park last August. Since they’re getting married in Austin in November, they chose to Central Park for their engagement session as well to commemorate their big NYC milestone.

We had so much fun together wandering through the park on one of the first nice days of the season. Sangeetha insisted they wouldn’t be naturals because it was their first time being photographed, but I swear you could never tell. Scroll through the photos to see!
